Motor Boating

There are many strands of sporting activity that come under the banner of motor boating – which refers to any type of boating activity that involves power propulsion over wind as the primary method of propulsion.

Motor cruising involves some of the same skills as sail cruising such as chart work and navigational know –how. It is considered a quicker and more reliable way of getting about and can be used for anything from short trips on lakes, estuaries or bays, or across oceans

Sport or power boats are a way to have lots of fun on the water without having to learn how to sail. Jet or propeller powered, they can, of course be dangerous weapons in the wrong hands

River boating – on slower craft including barges, which are a very popular option for an all-inclusive family holiday.
