Women looking for romance this Valentine's Day and beyond have been recommended a trip to Scotland for the chance to "date a hot Scot", while a promotional campaign is offering the chance to win a dream trip to the country.VisitScotland has launched a competition sweepstake, with entry open from Valentine's Day until April 12th 2007, with the opportunity to win a free holiday with a friend and the chance to meet the "hottest" men in Scotland.
It notes that prize winners will also be advised on the must-see attractions in Scotland, including bars and clubs in Edinburgh and Glasgow, pubs in the Highlands and music and arts festivals.
Chris Capaldi, rugby player and kilt model, said: "I'd be delighted to be one of the hot Scots and be able to tell everyone about everything I love about Scotland"
VisitScotland lists a number of tours of Scotland for visitors, including loch cruises and whisky tours.
