Britons who want more convenience when purchasing foreign currency may be interested in taking advantage of a service offering a range of foreign currencies delivered direct to their home.Following a deal by travel site Peopleschampion.com and foreign exchange firm Travelex, Britons on the internet buying their holiday insurance and flights can order their euros, dollars, yen or yuan while online.
Those leaving their travel money arrangements to the last minute can instead opt to order on the web and pick up their currency at their airport before they travel.
Jim Spoward, chairman of Peopleschampion.com, said: "We are delighted to be bringing foreign currency and travellers cheques to our customers.
"It's safe and simple to use - and without any hassle."
Last month, holiday insurance provider Lloyds TSB reported that 45 per cent of UK travellers are concerned about the safety of the money they take abroad, with the firm advocating the use of a travel money card for increased security overseas.
