Isle of Man jazz festival celebrates 15th year
28 March 2007  British Jazz fans planning their holidays for the coming year may be interested in a weekend break to the Isle of Man for the 15th year of the island's annual jazz festival.

The Isle of Man Jazz Festival takes place between September 21st and 23rd, with featured artists including tenor sax player Art Themen and renowned trombonist Roy Williams playing at the Hilton Hotel in Douglas.

Travel agency Everymann Holidays is offering packaged trips including flights from Liverpool or Manchester, accommodation at the nearby Claremont Hotel and breakfast.

Adrian Earnshaw, tourism minister, said: "The Isle of Man Jazz Festival has gained a reputation over the years as one of friendliest around, where musicians and the audience mix freely and I am sure this is one of the reasons for its success."

Everymann Holidays is an independent tour operator that works in collaboration with Isle of Man Tourism to offer travellers a range of holiday styles.

Other performers at this year's Isle of Man International Jazz Festival include the Chicago Teddy Bears Society Jazz Band, Bruce Adams and John McCormick.
