Fans of the hugely-popular Harry Potter books will be able to visit the locations of some of the sites used in the films as part of a new tour launched today. Taking place during the spring holidays next year, the tour hopes to bring the books to life for avid fans.
Starting in Edinburgh, the tour will begin at Edinburgh's castle and the winding Gothic streets of the Old Town, which provided J.K. Rowling's inspiration for the books.
"This trip is a perfect holiday gift that will bring Harry Potter's world to life for any teen who fell in love with the series," said Mark Cestari, vice president of marketing at Explorica, which is running the tour.
"We've included actual film locations on the tour as well as stops Harry and his friends made in the books."
After Edinburgh the tour will visit Alnwick and Bambrugh castles, Hadrian's Wall, York and London.
