Easter is the perfect time of year to rent a holiday home for a family trip, it has been claimed, with the period regarded as low or mid-season for owners of these properties.Travel accommodation firm Holiday-Rentals.co.uk has published a new section on its website for the Easter holidays, with families being offered holiday homes at prices ranging from £200 a week.
Alexis de Belloy, managing director of the firm, said: "Easter weeks don't get booked up as quickly as late summer, making it the perfect time to treat the family for less."
He added that those looking to save more money could share their accommodation with another family and potentially save 40-70 per cent on the cost of their trip.
Earlier this year, holiday insurance provider Halifax reported that Spain is the most popular location for Britons looking to purchase their own holiday home abroad.
