Travel service Opodo has announced the launch of an interactive microsite aimed at the city break market to assist travellers, including those with holiday insurance, planning their trips abroad.At its inception, the microsite will feature information on the top ten city break destinations visited by the company's UK-based customers, including New York, Budapest, Barcelona and Prague.
Tanya Lidstone, head of user experience at Opodo, said: "We really wanted people to be able to explore the page as well as the destination.
"As an innovative online travel company our aim is not only to sell the hotel, flight or activity, but also to sell the experience of what it is like to visit these cities."
Opodo is a travel company owned by nine European airlines including British Airways, together with Amadeus, a global travel distribution system and technology provider.
The company offers customers flights, accommodation, holiday insurance and car rental services.
